Greetings from the lovely Himalayas, where on this fine day I am happy to share with you that you too can start a business with the power of an idea (if you are the right kind of personality who is activated by ideas). Ramala Hubb’Allah, the creator behind this site, possesses an ability to move and inspire. Not just that, she augments her creative side by putting it in the container of socioeconomic and business needs! She knows the art of seeing a gap and fulfilling it with a business or even a product. (She has developed several organic products herself.) She is also known for her curatorial skills.
Putting her ability to generate ideas + creativity + demand gap analysis + curatorial skills together, First Came The Word offers:
DOMAIN NAMES + suggested BUSINESS IDEA
Here are some real world examples of how we went from a word to > a name to > domain to > a business:
1. Alam-e-Nau (means “New World” in Persian)
Registered as alamenau.org–it was apparent from the start that this will be an institution and organization with vast implications and applications, thus a .org, not a .com (yet). The website is for an organization that is focused on knowledge, and on trade links between regions, as well as books focused on a new economy. The site is also about the exploration of regions hitherto not very familiar to the outside world; it focuses on their language, culture, cuisine and other iconic markers. Finally, the organization is also focused on new businesses and markets. The SHOP section of the website is focused on selling print-on-demand books as the first flagship product. More services will be added later.

I am a constant creator whose mind receives a rain shower of names and ideas that overwhelm me, and I cannot make use of them all. It finally occurred to me that I can sell these, and that my art is writing and naming, not exactly the creation and execution of each and every business.
